Between June 23 and July 4, 2016 I spent the most beautiful vacation in Bulgaria. I was partly in Plovdiv and I spent a few days in Trankovo Village near Radnevo where we inaugurated the first Burning Chair Festival. We are trying to inspire Bulgarian people to dream of and create a better life for themselves... Bulgarian youth are very talented but they dont have very good prospects in Bulgaria and there are bad cultural influences and modes of thinking that can pull them down....

Around the fire in Trankovo we played guitar and improvised songs like Baba Gela... We talked serious topics too like how to attract tourists or home buyers to Trankovo in order to grow the population. We also talked about helping the local gypsies improve their lives....
